Dr. Christina McDowell, PT, DPT, was born and raised in Burnet, Texas. She began her college studies at the University of North Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Determined to become a physical therapist, Christina completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She further enhanced her credentials by obtaining certification in vestibular rehabilitation from The American Institute of Balance in Seminole, Florida. 

With 15+ years of experience in physical therapy, Christina has worked in diverse settings, including inpatient long-term acute care, outpatient orthopedics, aquatics, and adult/pediatric home health. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve their goals and return to their previous active lifestyles. Her special interests include orthopedic post-operative rehabilitation and the prevention of sports injuries. 

Christina lives in Floresville, Texas, with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys family activities, traveling, and baking. She serves the Wilson and south Bexar counties in Floresville, Texas.
