Dr. Christina McDowell, PT, DPT was born and raised in Burnet, Texas. She began her college studies at the University of North Texas, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. Christina had her sights set on becoming a physical therapist and received her doctorate from Northeastern University Physical Therapy School in Boston, Massachusetts. Christina further enhanced her therapy credentials by receiving her certification in vestibular rehabilitation from The American Institute of Balance in Seminole, Florida. She has 15 years of physical therapy experience working in a variety of settings including in-patient long-term acute care, outpatient orthopedics, aquatics, and adult/pediatric home health. Christina loves helping her patients reach their goals and return to their previous active lifestyles. She has special interests in orthopedic post-op rehabilitation and the prevention of sports injuries. Christina lives in Floresville, Texas with her husband and 3 kids and spends her free time enjoying her family life, traveling, and baking. Christina serves the Wilson and south Bexar counties in Floresville, Texas.
